1 More of that running game please 2 D line looks really good 3 All in all I thought Milton looked fine other than the one series. He should have have a couple more TDs and about 100 more passing yards on drops. 4 O line needs Mays back but all in all looked good. Wore them down as game went on 5 UVA is……bad. 6 In limited time Nico looked promising. 7 Punting on 4th and 4 and sad field goals…..not good looks. 8 We better fix the special teams screw ups. And quickly. That stuff will get you beat against good teams. 9 Looked like a typical first game. 10 Thank you God for technology so I can watch games at cross country events.
Elliott kicking the field goal near the end of the half was butch jones shit. I'll never understand it.
7/7 in red zone is good Arion looks like a senior physically Glad to see Sampson get touches. Rbs can’t complain about touches when they are all tired. As dominant in stats against a D1 team as you will see.
We would either kick the kickoff out of the end zone or out of bounds at the 10. We shanked 2 punts righty then kicked one lefty. It’s too much. Just kick the ball and cover. But I bet we see a run out of it next week to test it out if we have to punt.
Milton would have looked better without the drops, but that performance will not produce the same result against the SEC.
New qb, new center, new RT, replace bilitnikoff, replace sec offensive poy, new OC. It’ll get better. We’ve been talking about patience and expecting a dropoff on offense but uptick on defense and you could see us flying around all day today and tackled well for the most part.
Yea 5 years ago this time we were opening our season against a trash ACC program only to get our doors blown off by them starting from literally play #1 on. Winning 49-13 against an ACC program to open the season despite losing the turnover battle and vanishing offensively for a majority of the first half is greatly more enjoyable
Wright did seem to get winded fast. I don’t remember that issue last year. But he is really good at finding the hole
when you give it to a back several times in a row and couple of the runs are 10+ and maybe a pass route in between, with no huddle, they can’t catch their breath
Yeah we had some chunk plays but none of the down the field pass plays. Hard to keep tempo without getting more downfield completions. Plus he runs like a madman these days. Needs a break in there.
