I swear that still makes me laugh every time it’s referenced or I hear that song. That song came on while I was recently at a wings bar with the family, and I started laughing at that booming part - “NIGHT MOVES!”. My kids asked me what was so funny, and I tried to explain it, even as their faces slowly turned from genuine interest to looks of bewildered confusion, and finally sadness, as they honest-to-goodness wondered what was wrong with their old man / husband, and how much longer I could still be trusted to be home alone with a stove and guns.
A Basilio caller just asked about the rumors that Saban was trying to lure Ansley back to Bama. I was surprised when Basilio responded that lots of people at Tennessee would be happy to see him leave to go back. What’s the story (if anything), morning glory?
Yea but Mac Jones is still a better QB than anyone we will have on our roster. Waddle and Devonta Smith are better receivers than anyone on our roster as well. Moses coming back on that defense hurts as well. I still don't see that as a winnable game for us. Maybe I'm just not seeing it.
sounds like Pruitt is an easy guy to work hard for. I keep hearing about all these impending departures but then you see a reluctance to go for lateral moves. Also, I interpret this loyalty to mean it is well understood that Papaw Phil has the checkbook out to even up any market corrections that should come up.
we hung around on the road this year, and I think folks see that single event as a mean tide line rather than the high water storm surge that it was.
I actually think Pruitt can go toe to toe with Saban defensively and put some wrinkles in that disrupts what they're trying to do. I don't think we have the depth yet to keep that up for 4 qtrs.
Mac Jones probably won't be starting by the time TSIO rolls around, if he even gets the nod to start the season. It's going to be Bryce Young.
