I could see South Carolina going after him if Muschamp doesn't right the ship. If anyone they could get can go toe to toe with Dabo on the trail, it would be him. He had the #1 FCS class at Austin Peay after inheriting a winless team.
Got no problem with his recruiting. None. Got to meet some of his assistants while he was at Peay and was very impressed with them. Big difference is running a football team at Peay or Charlotte than in the SEC is all. Like I said, in 3 years I may change my mind on him.
The highest paid state employee should be smart enough to not use his company phone to set up escorts for himself, players, recruits and coaches. The fact he's that stupid should disqualify him from future employment
Yeah i know all that. I knew of Freeze when he went to Briarcrest. If you tell me hes here 4 years, we beat bama twice during that time, and he gets caught again, ok. Bye pastor freeze. Thanks for ending streaks and scoring 50 for me to enjoy my dwindling number of saturdays.
Yeah, that's rookie stuff. Gotta get the hostesses to buy in, Kiffin style. No need for a phone to set anything up at that point.
This is why I refuse to believe we cannot be a dominant program again. We've sucked the better part of the 21st century and national writers still lead with us - https://theathletic.com/2167308/202...penn-state-offense/?source=emp_shared_article
Ubben with good stuff too - https://theathletic.com/2167258/202...e-vols-butch-jones/?source=emp_shared_article
Yeah, that was great stuff from Ubben. Interesting that he seems to think Pruitt is holding Chaney back, and that Chaney is more likely to modernize the offense if left to his own devices.
Yeah, I suppose line up in a jumbo package and play manball isn’t necessarily his usual MO, although it’s hard to tell how much of that is not having a QB he can trust. Either way, I hope Pruitt lets him loose, because the alternative is a fast track to Muschamp 2.0.
Rumor has it that Chaney came to Pruitt with a couple of different game plans for using the younger qbs during last week and Pruitt said nah we good
Jeez I hope that’s not true, that sounds like we’re already at Muschamp 2.0. Although, given our results for the past three weeks, maybe I should hope that it is true and that Pruitt offers a mea culpa during the bye.
