I do not know if we were more affected than others with COVID stuff. It would be a hard thing to gauge. I am willing to concede, as @govols182 pointed out somewhere earlier, that this season was always kind of a throwaway because of COVID. And yet, we spend that throwaway trying to develop JG? Pruitt must truly believe JG gives him the best chance. But in year 3, that's an indictment in itself. I really like Pruitt. I would do anything I could to ensure his success here. He's turning the quarterback position into his Waterloo. Or so it seems.
So getting all of these young guys ready to go and excited about that heading to Arkansas is all well and good as long as #2 isn't the QB. To me that is like Gordon Ramsey training a bunch of aspiring Michelin chefs to make the most exquisite meal possible. They work on all of the details knowing eventually they can make a near perfect meal. They get the finest beef, the best sides, the most tasty dessert and lay it out on the table. Then right before they allow anyone to eat they bring in the hobo from the alley to come in, squat, and shit on the entire plate. Then say bon appetite.
I had an extra five minutes to waste. Last 30 games- KY has lost by 20 or more once. TN has lost 12 times. Hell, take away the AL game and you still have 9 times. Let that sink in.
Since this season is a manure grenade is it too early to merge the 2021 predictions in this thread yet?
Until we get to that game and give zero [uck fay]s and they smell blood in the water and a chance to get a W against big brother. Would not be shocked if we dropped that game.
So, Pruitt wants to protect Bailey, so surely he won't give him his first start against a top 10 A&M team, right? Or was that just Pruitt channeling his inner Butch and making shit up?
Narrator: what he didn’t know is that Tennessee’s cluster[uck fay]ing experience would allow them to outcluster[uck fay]ingshine them all.
