I will say - good on Gruden for recognizing it was over and resigning abruptly with a decent apology. He did exactly what he should have done, considering the circumstances.

Now if Urban Meyer could just take a page out of that book…

While I don't understand talking like that at all, I probably say things with my male friends that are just blustery nonsense that if written in an email would appear to be far worse than it really is.
