Easy. Eaaaasy there. I don't know the man. It was a thought experiment only, and you didn't quote the first part of the sentence, "Is he a Cincinnatus/Washington figure". He has done and continues to do only what is necessary and I like him.
It's [uck fay]ing stupid. Ukraine had its own problems before the war, but people just rolling out blatant Russian propaganda is [uck fay]ing shameful.
The best number that we have is Afghanistan cost us $2.3tn and the lives of 2448 military personnel. Which is widely understood as a massive undercount of the actual cost. Afghanistan had zero strategic value outside of the cave Osama Bin Laden lived in. With Ukraine we have an opportunity to spend a small fraction of that cost and don't have to sacrifice any American lives to save a far more strategic plot of land from a significantly more threatening opponent. And people are acting like its such a waste of money. So much cheaper to spend a couple hundred billion now rather than have to fight the war. It's like people can't fathom a timeline for more than a day in advance of the price of inaction.
People talk like "Ukraine has committed war crimes too." Okay, probably. But they are being invaded. They are fighting to the last man in some circumstances. Get real with the "war crimes" talk when there is systematic rape and targeting of civilians, and you are talking about farmers stealing equipment with tractors or ambushes out of uniform. The Wolverines of Red Dawn, if you don't know, were walking war crimes. Context matters.
Ah yes, that drug addict and his senile father are criminal masterminds. Just like the Obamas. And Clintons. And Kennedys. And anyone else who is not conservative.
I mean, she never tried to overturn an election. Never mocked veterans. Never cheated on Bill with a porn star while he was home with baby Chelsea. Never [uck fay]ed contractors out of payment, bankrupting them.
You conveniently left out all the people she paid to have murdered. She's unlikeable and has the personality of a slab of concrete.
If it's absolutely unhinged to think of him when someone insinuates corruption, then I guess we are living in a 2020 thriller starring Russell Crowe.
