I probably hate Missouri more than most. They enter my internet circle via cardinals fans. they actually think they belong because they got their asses kicked in a couple SEC championship games because they had the benefit of not being god awful in literally the only 2 seasons of history in which one of Tennessee, Florida, or Georgia didn’t at least marginally have its shit together.
It is a good example of how proximity/borders mean some segment of a fanbase sees a border opponent as extra hated. I am sure there is more juice in Memphis for Arkansas and the Mississippi schools than in chattanooga.
I meant I probably hate them more than most people do, not that I hate them more than Georgia, Florida, Bama, etc

Middle and west Tennessee has a different feel. but rural East Tennessee doesn’t even like most of the little communities that lives by them, that are just like them. Crazy that hill folk don’t like others outside of their clan.
man I was in Colorado on 9/11 and drove back to TN thru Kansas. At one point my boss who was driving just lost it on a Kansas rant as we felt like we’d been driving on the same road with same scenery for 2 days
whole drive was odd. We didn’t want to punt back to them. Then end up wasting too much clock as we converted. Heup doesn’t hesitate in same situation with last years weapons and qb
