Flipped it on the wcws game and I just can’t do it. Constant chanting and singing and walking around the mound after every pitch are flat out annoying.
Oh hey got a transfer from OU. #1 catcher prospect out of high school, .278 average in two years, two remain.
I’m just glad they were able to find a way to win a shootout even though today’s game was mathematically meaningless. For much of the year, if the pitching wasn’t perfect it was an L.
I admit that I had kinda written them off as “good, not great” after a tough non-conference portion of the schedule, but looking back, it was a lot of one-run losses to legit top ten teams. And winning every series in SEC play is no easy feat.
They also caught some tough breaks with rainouts on their non conference tournament schedule. Missed out on a couple of nice rebound opportunities.
were also mashing Georgia Tech before that game was called, though Tech ain’t exactly an elite opponent.
I went to a couple of games this season. It's one of the more enjoyable live game experiences to be had.
To be fair, the pitching actually was pretty close to perfect most of the time. 1.35 team ERA and .502 OPS against are just ridiculous numbers.
Helps that OU finally looks human this year (though they are still very good). Texas is probably the favorite right now.
#3 national seed ain’t too shabby. Honestly don’t know much about the smaller teams. Dayton is apparently on a shutout streak, but also that’s against the A-10
