Hit me with some knowledge, biznatches. Post only stuff that is less than a year old, give or take. Y'all heard of this group named "Fun"? I'm digging what I hear so far.
Since when are we limited to one video per post?
That Fun band really annoys me for some reason. The "We Are Young" song with every word having 14 syllables just irritates me. Sorry to poop on your selection. I like this band The Tallest Man on Earth:
Listen to the second song -- I like it better. The first one I posted because it's already out as a single. But "some nights" is my Jaaaaaam.
My wife likes the band Fun, which usually means I will find the music unbearable. But this is actually good stuff, I think.
Never heard of them before today but I think I like their stuff. First impression is they're like a modern day Skynyrd.
Post some of their stuff that you listened to. Everything that I listened to a couple of days ago sounded turrible.
This was the only song I listened to Also reminds me a bit of Corey Smith
Passion Pit. I love this band so very very much. The main guy is a brilliant but tortured dude. Check out this article: Cover Story: Passion Pit | Features | Pitchfork Odds of dude off'ing himself in the next two or three years are pretty decent. What's interesting is that this guy with demons constantly roaming around his headspace writes the most happiest, cheeriest, most upbeat songs you've ever heard. That's what I dig about Passion Pit. Sugary happy pop songs about alcoholism and mental illness. Who pays attention to lyrics anyway?* These are all off the new album, which I very much dig. _____________________ *I actually pay very little attention to lyrics. I know some people listen to music for the lyrics as much as the music. Those people are called music critics. They're all worthless. Funk them. I hate music critics. Reading album reviews makes me want to punch people in the face. I have no idea what the funk they're talking about half the time. The other half they'll say the best track is the worst track and vice versa. I seriously would like to punch a music critic in the face one day.

And if you haven't heard their first album, check out Sleepyhead, Little Secrets, and Moth's Wings. And if you haven't heard their initial EP, check out Better Things, Cuddle Fuddle, and I've got your number. And if you made it that far, you're a fan -- and cooler for it -- and may as well buy their albums.
I've heard good things about this guy*, but I have yet to check out his stuff for myself. On my list. *It is just a single dude. I imagine he is tall.
A guy I worked with -- at a very crappy job in college -- literally did not listen to new music. He only listened to classic rock. He REFUSED to listen to anything but classic rock. This guy was my age -- in his focking early 20s and he had only listened to classic rock his entire life. I'm like: "dude, I know you seem content rocking nothing but g0ddamn 38 special at the age of focking 22, but I think you're a huge bag of douche, my friends concur, and we all laugh at you when you're not around, and we also ran the train on your girlfriend and we did so more than once....[Ban Me]"
