Yes, there is no clause concerning violations. But then, when it is your boosters and AD committing those violations and you know about them, you might be able to negotiate not to be hit with that clause too.
Also some self awareness that others weren't going to be coming after him with huge money might have been helpful
Who is to say that someone in the know wouldn't come forth to screw Chizik out of that 7 mil and have the AD self report based on new knowledge. Been stranger things happen before.
