It is a documentary covering the Amazing Randy, who made a career out of exposing frauds. Well worth a watch.
Amazing indeed. If you liked that one you should watch the Netflix doc on Ricky Jay, one of the best sleight-of-hand magicians of all time.
A little weird that he practically was begging on camera for that portion not to be in the film, the director says fine - don't worry it won't be, and then makes it in anyways.
Was a note at the end stating that Randy gave him permission for all interview footage to be included in the film. After dude was sentenced, I suppose his statements were no longer incriminating.
It was weird, but ya it looks like things changed when the judge ruled favorably for time served plus probation/community service.
