By all accounts a solid hire. We've upgraded the recruiting capabilities of the staff so not sure it critical that Palermo be a lights out recruiter. We still have one more defensive slot to add another recruiter/coach. As many have stated Garner ain't coming back.

Saw a stat that his entire starting DL in 04 was drafted. Was also on staff of Notre Dame's 88 national title team. Given his 0-11 record as a head coach of Austin Peay in 1990, I doubt he'll be the interim coach if we ever go down that route.
