I don't believe that I said it started and ended with said Profs. I am sure to your disblief but to an extent I agree here as well.
I had quite a few in school and I assure you my alma mater still has a bunch. I suspect Liberty and Wheaton remain conservative. The vast, vast majority aren't just left, but ridiculously left.
I've had far more conservative professors than not. School and major choice are the drivers of that though.
I never had a professor I considered even remotely conservative. but I did go to cal. . . even the business professors are liberals at cal.
If they want a "safe space" they should go to the privacy of their dorm rooms. If they don't trust the media, don't talk to them. Damn, that was difficult. What do these kids learn these days?
Some in other business departments were fairly liberal. Dr. Wachowitz was pretty dang close to being a socialis. I had one Ervin professor who worshiped Keynes and said sales taxes were regressive. I liked her and she was a good professor, but she was very liberal.
My absolute favorite professor was a rabid socialist and member of the SDA who carried Mao's Little Red Book in one pocket, and the US constitution in the other. Diametrically opposed views from my own, but he made me think, and helped me tremendously professionally. My best professors were those I shared little in common with. In fact, most of my friendships are people very different from me. Maybe I'm just weird.
The one I quoted. This isn't what most professors are teaching. Otherwise, they wouldn't be resigning or fighting it.
