Imagine if he had been healthy? Constantly battled injury, even less than 100% I think he's one of our best OL for that period
I agree with the injury part. Just think that him being a unanimous first team all-american in '04 was a joke.
I never saw the flashes of Kevin Simon that make everyone think he could have been the second coming of Lawrence Taylor.
No doubt. He could make throws that some guys playing on Sunday can't make. As good as Kiffin was for Crompton, ddiapos was that bad for Bray.
That's because he was. Missed his freshman season because of a knee injury, in 2002 he broke his ankle against Rutgers and in 2004 tore his knee up again. He was great in 2003 when he was healthy.
So we should put players on a list based on what they could have done instead of what they did? I don't think that's how that works.
Bray did pretty well, individually. If we aren't going to be looking at individual stuff and more of how the team did (and I realize that's always given a special look with QBs) then you'd have to seriously consider putting Gibril Wilson or Julian Battle over Eric Berry.
Man, I forgot about Battle. He was a solid safety in his own right, even if I did want to muder him after the game at LSU in 2000.
No, I was agreeing with another poster that said Bray would be on the list with better coaching. He had all the physical tools to be one of the greatest to play here. Instead, he hated his head coach
Battle played '01-'02. I believe Baker and Lott were the safeties in that gm EDIT: Lott pulled a hamstring before half, Tad Golden played the rest of the way iirc
