Being a complete ignorant dude when it comes to drugs, does this just give you non-stop go-go juice for the time you are on it? Or is there more to the it than the obvious? Does it sharpen your focus or does it worsen it?

For me personally it'd lock me in for a full 90 minute match. If I didn't take one I noticed I'd get gassed.
My wife took them before exams in pharmacy school. I think it was pretty common for all of the medical students at you UT to use them.

Used to take ritalin in HS...eventually found out how easy it is to abuse. It became a pretty big issue for me. I was basically getting a strimmed down version of cocaine from my doctor each month. If used properly ADD meds can be wonderful, but if you have issues with stuff like that it can be a problem. Now, almost 20 years later i find myself sometimes thinking about the help it could give me (I get distracted easily and sometimes have difficulty focusing) but the risk far out weighs the reward.
