Whichever number Al Wilson would've worn, he would be the greatest Vol to ever wear that number. #36 is obviously Cody Blanc before he switched numbers. #38 Greg Johnson. Pretty sure the only guy from my high school to get a scholarship to play SEC football ever.
Atkins may be best player to ever play at tennessee. And 27 is likely the toughest discussion other than Rashad baker/manning at 16.
I liked Bryson better, mainly because I knew Hayden's little brother and he never stopped talking about how much money his brother was going to make in the NFL.
#41 - ???? #42 - Bob Suffridge (honorable mention to Eric Westmoreland) #43 - David Leaverton (only one I can think of) #44 - Chuck Webb #45 - Johnny Majors (shoutout to Will Bartholomew) #46 - Raynoch Thompson #47 - Dustin or Britton Colquitt (shoutout to Greg Amsler) #48 - Beattie Feathers #49 - Kelly Ziegler (although #49 was retired in 2006 to honor Rudy Klarer) #50 - Bill Duff #51 - Robert Ayres #52 - Cosey Coleman? #53 - Jerod Mayo #54 - Dale Jones #55 - Jesse Mahelona is my best guess #56 - Curt Maggitt is my best guess #57 - Steve Kiner #58 - Todd Lelly or Darwin Walker? #59 - ?????? #60 - ??????
I think we can probably do better with some of those 50's guys, but I'll have to think on it. Did Mayo not wear #7 his entire time here?
