Yes. That was a terrible effort. Can’t gripe about offense because we have no post and that makes life hard for Williams. Williams struggled where he normally doesn’t, but that’s undersized post play.

Lack of shots for Bowden puzzles me.

The defensive and rebounding effort absolutely blew.

 

Or rebounded or defended in the second. That transition trotting back crap killed us.

 

Takes the 12 apostles to play good transition defense.

 

We good. I just don’t like to cop out. Our effort was awful. We have people who can play a little. Our center is the only guy I beat up because he is awful.

 

The hustle wasn’t there in the second half. Just wasn’t. The rebounding I can understand a little but not getting back in transition was pathetic. Didn’t deserve to win.

Rebounding is focus and effort. We lacked both.

And for the record I'm not saying we couldn't have defended a little better in transition.

But this a pretty dang good team we played.

We got beat on turnovers and rebounding in this game. They mauled us in the Second half.

UNC had more turnovers. Hard to say that's what cost UT the game.

 

We should move Schofield back. He's just terrible unless he's shooting open 3's now.

Tired of watching his pull up and mid ranged fadeaways.

 

And I'm not trying to make excuses. We should have won this game. Take better care of the ball and do a better job of keeping them off the boards and we win the game. Same with Nova a few weeks ago.

 

We turned the ball over at the worst part of the game dude. So yeah, it played a part. We had a ton of unforced errors as well.

 

Turnovers count the same in the fortieth minute as they do the first

 

Lol, absolutely right. And we lost the game because we couldn't hold on to the ball late in the game. That and we couldn't keep them off the boards in the second half. Did you ever play basketball?
