Listening to VQ podcast, it sounds like Pruitt might be ruffling feathers in state by being more selective with offers. An ESPN article made reference to it, too. I think NPA is the subject of controversy.
His first year, everyone loved him because he did that, then he started yanking offers once the class started to full up on 5 ft 10 inch athletes with no true position
I like having a comprehensive strategy, rather than just taking the highest rated guys who will come and plugging them in to the playbook you stole back in 2005
Owen Pappoe (LB) has been here twice and Wanya Morris (OT) has been here two or three times. Both are from Grayson High School in Georgia. Both are highly ranked guys, both spoke highly of their visit here. Pappoe has a top two of Auburn and UGA. Clay Webb, a 5* center, also visited and spoke highly of Tennessee
I don't think we'll see immediate results, but Pruitt is starting to get big time guys on campus multiple times. That's what he thought his downfall was on NSD. We'll see if it pays off in the Summer/Fall.
Tennessee gets Lampley, Morris and Darnell Wright, that's two instant starters and a really good prospect
We have a really good shot at Wright. His coach likes UT. Trying to let the kid do what's best, but has been a UT fan awhile
