Williams isn't even the best player on this team.

    That's Schofield.

And as if his effort wasn't impressive enough, he's the best player on our team while missing half of every game with silly fouls.

    Credit where it's due.

We bout to shut UTC down on some ballers.

Tough day. Needed Alexander. Didn't get a bounce. And still had the lead and should have had the ball. Watch the gold spot on the ball change direction after Grant hits it.
Their fronting the post and immediate double team was effective.

The only thing about UT sports that doesn't disappoint is its uncanny ability to always disappoint.

As far as adjusting to their post D, yes. We adjusted at half, went smaller, stayed on our feet more on D. Came up short. How would you have adjusted to the fronting of the post? I wanted more pick and roll and to counter it. Or take the guy out of the corner on that post side.

    Barnes gonna Barnes.

He's coached 31 years and made it out of the first weekend of the tournament six times.

What's the problem? I mention 2 things offensively I would have done differently.

Get the hell out of here. It isn’t that hard to get a pot guy to the ball. Hell, we could even screen for him instead of having him trot around to screen in the damn circle we run.

You can’t stand flat footed and let him get a clean look

Williams last score was a prime example. Their big couldn't handle him on the elbow faced up where on the block he could get help from different angles and it's harder to see it coming.

Our guards were flat awful in the first half on both ends.

Dude is terrible in March. He couldn't make it to the second weekend with Kevin [uck fay]ing Durant on his team. Anyone that expected Basketball Fulmer to accomplish anything in the post season here when he was hired was out of their mind.

Agree. We were going to the wing to try to make the pass to the post and too much standing around as they fronted it. Some 2 man pick and roll on a clearout from the side would have been another option. 62 pts isn't going to win many tourney games.

I get it. But he also took a team that didn’t have kevin Durant to the final 4, which nobody has taken Tennessee to.

He messed up today starting Fulkerson. Should’ve gone with the lineup they started the second half with. And he needed to do whatever it took to get those guys to stop throwing up 3s and going inside. He didn’t have his best day today for sure

Uh...it was utterly idiotic. He lost the game.

They didn’t have Durant but they had TJ Ford who was the best point guard in America. He’s not a bad coach, but he had a shitload of talent at Texas and only advanced past the sweet 16 three times in 17 years.
