Shocking that a prissy effeminate dork like Murray didn’t like Pruitt. Coach probably didn’t hold his and Richt’s hand at Sunday school. Seriously though, this reeks of Pruitt’s defense kicking the shit out of Murray and Richt every day in practice and just not giving a single [uck fay] about any of Richt’s [ussies pay] on offense.
Let them talk shit, David Pollack and Aaron Murray can go to hell. If Pruitt is the guy, he's going to win quickly and this week will be the start of Georgia hating Tennessee's coach.
Murray wasn’t even there when Pruitt was there. Murray and Pollack have no firsthand information. All the players that played for Pruitt at Georgia love him. He’s a players coach. They liked him more than they liked Richt.
[uck fay] him. He’s scared little [itch bay]. He’s saying out of one side of his mouth Pruitt is a horrible person and not head coach material, and out of the other side of his mouth he says Pruitt is a home run hire and an elite recruiter. So either way, if Pruitt fails or succeeds, Pollack will go back and say he was right about Pruitt. [uck fay] that [ussy pay]
That former UGA players even care enough to comment on Tennessee’s coach at all, is quite telling, just in and of itself, IMO. From Pruitt’s perspective, I’m looking at it as free publicity, but more importantly, as galvanizing this base around him via the family principal (family can incessantly make fun of and beat the living hell out of each other all day...but god help anyone outside the family who tries the same). And best - Pruitt was absolutely, 100% and clearly right on the need for toughness and urgency at UGA - at least to anyone but the most biased alums for Richt - as easily evidenced by the fact that Richt not only successfully maintained his personal tone and tenor throughout his time as coach, but which also and ultimately got him shit-canned for exactly that.
"He's a meanie! A mean ole coach! Disrespectful!" Ya, sorry. Not giving a shit what a few former offensive players thought about their old DC.
Richt's comment sufficiently categorizes the real level of seriousness of this: he wants to talk Miami football, and thinks Pruitt wants to talk tennessee football. I bet Richt is exactly right. This is high school hallway crap.
That's the thing, Pollack was on Gameday and Murray was getting cut in NFL training camps while Pruitt was in Athens.
