Ive said for 2 weeks this game landed better on the schedule for UT than UK. Im gonna stick with that. UK clawed its way to a 14-7 win over Vandy 3 weeks ago. Needed an official to give them a second chance at Mizzou with a PI call 2 weeks ago for a 1 point win. And last week, when the world was watching they got handled on their home field with the east on the line. Uncharted territory for UK. May be just a bunch of wishful thinking but I think they re flat physically and emotionally. UT 17 UK 10 The key to the game is their QB. If he's able to give them balance we can't win.
Gotta send guys at Snell, have QB accounted for and play man. They are basically running the SC offense with a better rb and more athletic qb. We couldnt stop them.
We will play better than last week, we will play everyone that is healthy enough to play. Coaches, players and fans will get up for this game much more so than last weeks game. The question will be, is that all enough? We shall see. Interesting where the line started for this game. Where is it currently?
We don’t do any of these three things well, at all, much less with the necessary consistency that a win over UK will require.
I started evaluating our chances with my other orbs - my eyes. UK is going to get healthy against us, Snell is going to look like Mike Vick and we’re going to lose at home by 14+ points.
Also missing their leading tackler and a starting OL for the first half. That has to help us as well.
I am pretty sure this is not the same Kentucky team that beat UF, Miss St. and USC. If they are we are probably in trouble but my gut is telling me they are not the same team and we are getting them at the right time.
