Lock was on point. The turnovers killed us. The one before the half broke our back. Go down 19 17 ot 19 13 and its a different ballgame imo. Dont think vandy is going to have the passing attack. We've done better at shutting down the run. Big questions are JG and Callaway being healthy.
Shurmur is no Lock but hes light years better than Terry Wilson and VU runs the ball decently. Its gonna be a tough one to win methinks
Vandy will throw screen after screen. We stop it and win. Though not sure our DL can do anything unless teams forget to block us.
I dont think anyone expected a repeat of last week's performance on defense. But I didnt hear anything that remotely lead to the idea of 50 - 17 either.
Lock put the ball exactly where it had to be tonight and we couldn’t get any pressure. The turnover right before half killed any chance we had after that.
His arm strength is crazy. They really put you in a rough spot with the safeties with how wide they can play the WRs
If we play like we did against Mizzou, Vandy will hang half a hundred on us. I called Mizzou hanging 500 yards and 50pt on us at half and got put on blast for it. The numbers showed the game should have been a blowout at half and we were simply in it by luck, a lot like WVU this year. With a non-existent pass rush and young corners, we get shredded by anything better than average throw game teams
He had all the time in the world and wasn't even being hit after release. You leave a guy like Lock with a clean Jersey and he'll shred you.
He sees windows and throwing lanes that many qbs don't. Reminds me of Aaron Rodgers for some reason. Maybe cause he looks like hes barely trying and a step ahead.
Go ahead and tell me the score for next week. I need to know whether to bother with the Nashville traffic.
You took credit. If that was your call I'm returning the props. I've got better things to do than watch Vandy score 50 next week.
