Tennessee vs. Colgate - Round of 64 NCAA Tournament

We have slept walked to an 11 point lead. I hope this is a precursor to turning this thing up in the second half to make it a comfortable viewing experience.

 

God they are so bad. How are we only up 14?

 

Our intensity is fairly low. They are also just clogging the lane against us.

 

I think Colgate has actually come with a good gameplan to zone. UT just playing really well right now.

This is the most I've seen us bicker, too.

 

Another half of outscoring Colgate by 12 and you have to think UT wins.

 

About the last four weeks teams have high ball screened with Admiral or Grants man and really exploited those bad switches. Especially late in shot clocks.

 

Decent half. Defense left a little to be desire, but, fortunately, Colgate wasn't good enough to make us pay.

 

Sign of a tight team.

 

Yes, they seem tight. My worry is that they are tight against Iowa (Assuming this one goes alright) and those guys can make us pay more than Colgate can.

I think they've been counting down the days until this tournament and they are so intent on not failing they are locking up a bit. There's zero reason Colgate should have as many deflections as they do. I hope we can relax and just play our ball.

 

Damn, Colgate had just shy of a 5 minute scoreless streak...and we’re only up 12 at half.
