I think part of why I'm calm about this is next year was going to be a downward trend anyway.

Problem is I don't know what coaches are realistic candidates that can sustain or exceed Sweet 16 level of success. That is, ones that aren't entrenched at their current stops.

Earl Grant seems promising but that's a risk.

 

Prestige, ease of recruiting, money would be my guesses.

 

He could take Holly's squad to LA and compete for the PAC-12 next season. The SEC seems to only be getting tougher.

 

Yeah I get that, it’s just hard for me to imagine, based on what I know about Rick Barnes, that those things would be enough to draw him there. It’s a crazy world though.
