The Masters 2019

Well, no visiting ESPN for a week.

 

I haven't watched espn in years. Or any sports shows, really. They are all insufferable now.

 

I don't mind Tiger winning. I don't mind Tiger, even. He was the reason I watched even more than I already did growing up. I mind that Tiger consumes nearly all coverage when within 5 shots of a leader, much less winning. So now he wins another major and people are tripping over their [Richards] to fawn over him.

 

He is a ratings magnet, though, and they are going to pump him up because of it.

 

I just think it’s cool that he’s doing this after a ton of people had him dead and buried. Even after he won a tournament last year, tons of people still said he’d never win another major. It made zero sense to me.

In a way, the (potentially) best golfer of all time became an underdog story. That just adds to it.

 

I hate it. it's garbage.

I've never seen him like that.

 

Announcers can now stop bringing up that stupid stat that Tiger never came from behind to win a Major.
