Everyone might be in line, but how many can afford him? He’s going to command at least $1 million. I’ve seen some chatter about him going to USC as defensive coordinator, but that doesn’t really make sense for either side.
Separate them by which one knows them the best. Apparently Niedermeyer has been making friends with kids' parents at camps since he started working for Saban. Tosh can go get the Polynesian guys
Tennessee will pay as much as anywhere else for a position coach. If someone gives him a DC job, that's something else.
People will be willing to offer him a DC job to get him as a recruiter but I'm not sure that is what really matters to him. He was very overwhelmed as a DC his first go around.
Assuming we lose Johnson and also Sherrer. Getting Lupoi and Jay Graham would be massive. Probably a pipedream though. I'd imagine Alabama would be on the inside track for Lupoi. Who knows if Graham wants to come home, even though he did work with Pruitt at FSU.
Maybe not. But until otherwise, there's really no reason to believe he'd rather be at Tennessee over them.
Not too worried. Its an area (Memphis) that you are always going to win some and lose some given the location of other SEC schools as compared to TN. Tends to be a little easier in West TN outside of Memphis. We have enough former players and such in the area that as long as you put a guy here that won't screw it up, you will tend to be fine.
