Part of the reason I think Trump has a great shot at winning is that I have so many friends who talk about how much they don't like him, but still view him as a "lesser evil" because of some single issue or another. The hypothetical fears seem to outweigh the actual dislike. Now, these are generally people who, like me, have no real problems in their lives whatsoever.

 

And I think you would have been 100% right pre-pandemic.

Ya, people with real problems may feel differently.

 

In one case, the gun law he was worried about already existed in his state and he didn't know it until I pointed it out. I.e., it wasn't a hindrance or problem for him.
