we had a 6'5 245 one last year that was passed by. Also, really kids are just bigger overall nowadays. Middle school teams now are what HS teams used to look like. Saw the MBA kids working out a little recently and they look like a small college as far as size of the kids. I was a big fan of Robert Newhouse. Not many built like him.
With the NIL situation, might there be a place for athlete-specific job fairs with post-graduation career tracks? Imagine you are a player who is competitive for a starting role but knows you probably don't have a pro career. Could you be matched up with a future employer relevant to your studies? It seems like there is a professional development angle to the NIL beyond just ads themselves that could be a win-win. For the transfers and less than blue chip folks especially.
A realistic mindset of the college experience as an athlete in relation to realistic long term goals? If it isn’t part of it it should be. Then again, perhaps I missed your point due to my lack of education lol.
Didn't know where to put this but how in the world, how in the year of our lord 2022 is Cheyenne Labruzza still playing college football? I'm pretty sure I graduated HS with him in 2007
Is he immediately eligible? I would think so, since he has yet to be with another team during a season.
