(I am also not supremely confident in winning even if their QB struggles—Pitt had a black hole at QB for a half and we couldn’t put them away, and Alabama has good runners and an excellent defensive line. Unless we change things up, which I don't think we have the personnel to do so, we'll be playing so soft it won't matter.

I need to start charting my gut feeling about a game through the week. It definitely peaks around Monday or Tuesday, and then steeply declines on Friday up until kick off, then increases for every moment of game time in which the Vols are not trailing. But I don't have a sense of precisely when or what triggers the trend changes. Maybe nothing.
My brain expects a loss, but every other part of me says win. A loss will hurt, but I will work hard to maintain perspective.
