Sounds like James Pearce may hit the portal. Don’t know how he expected more PT this year at his current weight.
I understand the fairness of the portal, but man, I am starting to have my doubts as to how good it is going to be for the players or the sport in general.
No inside info but just speculation but I wouldn't be surprised to see West get more looks at DE next season.
I'm surprised Calloway stayed this year. Holiday may leave as well. I think we will pick up a good transfer WR to help with depth. We have a lot of talent but they are young. Webb and Nimrod will be good but still need some time. Miller may end up leaving too, hasn't really worked out for him with his position change.
I don't think he's gonna fill out for inside anytime soon. He'd be a great inside on passing downs, but he also looks like he may be more natural at 265-280 and giving fits from a 5 tech.
I'm gonna guess this started with a male relative taking him aside and sharing with him some wisdom or possibly even giving him some "truth". "If I were you, I'd already have been telling everyone that IM NOT COMING BACK after Christmas Break. At least not until they're serious about paying me!"
