Pretty good. He’s mobile enough to escape pressure and extend the play if you don’t stay . He’s not going to beat anyone on the ground, but he’s not a statue. I consider a guy like Tyler Bray a statue. But if his line blocks like they did vs Utah he won’t have much of a chance anyway.
Give this man a lifetime contract - LOGAN FROM CHATTANOOGA Logan: “Hey Coach, thanks for taking the call. Um, first couple of weeks, obviously not wanting to show too much offensively on tape. Will we see things open up a little bit in the playbook this weekend going into SEC play? Go Vols.” Heupel: “Yeah, I appreciate you questioning our offensive philosophy here the first couple of weeks. I’m only kidding. Yeah, there’s some things, particular probably last week, that situationally you’re trying to hold. At the end of the day, this is one of the biggest games on the schedule. It’s the biggest game on our schedule right now because it’s the only one we play this week. You’re going to need to take advantage in every situation. We’ve got to play smart football. We’ve got to put our players in great position to make plays in all three phases of the game and you’ve got to call it aggressive and you’ve got to play it aggressive.”
Rewatching last year's Florida game. That drive at the end of the half, with 2 minutes left and we are on our own 2 yard line, is everything that I love about Heupel. Run it up the middle three times and punt and go to half? NOPE March that shit down the field, score a touchdown and then get the ball to start the second half, march down, score again. Love it.
