I think it's a relatively common "snowclone" in sports, like if a pitcher hit a home run before universal DH, etc.

 

That this team was undefeated coming in drives home how hard of a schedule Tennessee has played. These dudes have more in common with the non P5 teams than the P5 teams we've played.
