Surprised anyone thought Sarkisian would take it. What does Bama have that Texas doesn't, other than even more crushingly high expectations? Texas is the better job now that it is in the SEC and Saban is not.

Washington's Kalen DeBoer, who guided the Huskies to a Pac-12 championship and a spot in the CFP National Championship Game this past season, is negotiating a contract to replace Alabama's Nick Saban, sources told ESPN on Friday.

DeBoer was only making 4.2 million? Uh, ya, he gonna get poached.

 

Lanning was the only guy that scared me. Deboer finished 36 in recruiting this year while having a top 5 team the entire year. I’m not sure he’s willing to play the 5 star game.

But does Washington have a Sugar Daddy a la Thunder, Yellawood, Nike, etc? Can they even recruit top 10 talent there?

 

I’d think they’d have enough money and tradition to out recruit Georgia tech.
