Win out in the regular season and it’s a good shot. Win out including the SECT and I don’t know what the argument is against us.

 

I just don’t believe both of these games are 80%. We should be solid favorites in both but those teams can play.

 

0% chance they’re going from 46 to 30 by winning two games.

The Florida win, however, could go Quad 1 if they beat Bama and maybe something in the SECT. They’re 34.

 

Feel like for first time this year the outside noise and pressure got to Knecht this week. Could be wrong. He was forcing. Good to see him relaxed and smiling. I bet he’s happy to see his teammates get some glory and rest his shoulders

Argument 1: we just took a giant shit on the NCAA

Nah. I mean he makes you pull your hair out. But he’s not afraid. He had 9 points in the first half, and he was on the bench in the second. I thought they handled the Gainey/Mashack split perfectly.

 

Mashack played a lot of 3 and 4 this game. Gainey is a 2G.

 

Him attacking and getting to the line to even out the foul distribution in the first half was massive for us. We needed all of it.

 

Mashack stays in the other guys jersey. He fights through screens so well, it ruins their initial action. Elite defender.

 

We played poorly and beat the best offensive team in the country at their place. This team can win in any type of game.

 

He is still sassy about how we man-handled them last year in the tourney.

It’s when I looked and realized that over a 9 minute stretch they had scored 5 points

 

I don’t know that he’s been able to get things done on the drive like that against anybody else in the league, but he got it done. Was absolute trash from beyond the arc—he’s got a good stroke and he’ll figure it out one day, but he’s not there yet. Key took ten seconds before he actually let it go.
