Wasn’t happy with Mashack’s play tonight. Late in the first half there were two possessions ina. Row where he didn’t want to give the ball up and on the first of those 2 seemed to refuse to feed Knecht.

However I’ll also say Knecht was out of his mind launching that 3 with 1.5 mins left in the game.

It wasn’t his best game. Lost his composure a time or 2 on offense, and probably not his best defensive game.

 

Right now, KenPom has us +28 over an average team. Clicking around a bit, the best previous team I can find for us is +26.2 in 2019.

KenPom isn’t the be-all, end-all, but it’s also not subject to recency bias.

(Also now just a hundredth of a point behind Arizona in Ken’s predictive metrics and way ahead in all the resume ones).

Also the more stuff I see from opposing fans about how bad we’d be without DK, the more convinced I am Barnes and last year’s team don’t get enough credit for what they accomplished

Tennessee is .01 behind Arizona in KenPom for #4. They play tonight at UCLA, who sucks. Will be interesting to see how their number changes.
