Can’t recall the last time so many shots rimmed out.

 

I would run Dillione, Carr, Phillips, Estrella, walkon in the second half.

 

Evidently Ms st a bad matchup for us. Goodness we got nothing from anybody

 

It couldn’t be worse.

 

Not sure I’ve seen rec teams miss that many open shots. At least we don’t need to pay attention to any ACC games.

 

2-19 from three and 1 point in the last 6 minutes, 8 in the last 10 of the half.

I can't remember a more miserable "performance". This game is toast, unless DK gives us another miracle.

 

Win the conference, have a shot at a #1 tournament seed, a shot to make a run in March, have the entire state behind you, and then show up and do that. Vescovi needs to be sat at the end of the bench. He's terrified to shoot and isn't doing anything else. Mashack can defend better, Gaines is shooting better, and the rest is a draw. He's hurting us on the court.

 

Missing shots is annoying but that isn’t what really bothered me about that half. Just a horrible mentality

 

As bad as we played, if we just shoot the same shots we took at a semi-average rate, we're in the game.

Obviously giving up way too many easy looks at the basket, but the bigger problem today is that MSU is hitting the difficult looks, finishing through contact, etc. and basically not missing anything at the rim. Vicious cycle.

 

The only thing giving me hope is that Miss St still has to shoot on that end.

They are bigger, stronger, faster and more confident.
We have had a shit ton of open 3s but hoping they go in instead of knowing it’s in.

 

Now we don’t have to be angry when we don’t get a 1 seed I guess.

 

That's 100% what we should do the second half. No point in risking an injury in the second half of a game that we probably have a <5% chance of winning. We need Kenecht and ZZ out there when we get bounced by a team like Colgate.

 

Will definitely be hard to be angry about that.
