Hey anyone who has nothing better to do, such as rearrange your sock drawer, and you are very liberal in what you consider good music, I am going to be joining my "Hundred Acre" band mate, Jeff Lane, for a blues jam at the Open Chord on Kingston Pike. Starts at 8:00 on the 17th, and ends around 11:30. I cannot say what time we will be on stage as it depends on when we sign-in. Now there are some fantastic musicians playing there., such as Robert Higginbottom. My remark re good music is strictly aimed at my ability. I invite any and all to come out and have a brew. Heck, I might even buy. I realize the link says first Thursday. They do it on the third one too.
I am glad you will be back on stage. I can't pull away from work on a Thursday but would try if you have a weekend show.
That's funny. More and more people are bringing yeti tumblers to our kids' shows, I brought mine to the science fair a couple of weeks ago, with Beam and coke. My wife was getting a little pissy about it. I asked her, what the hell do you think the rest of the parents have in their's, water? She made a run and coke.
RB, don't be so modest. You OWN the stage every performance. I highly reccomend you Knoxville guys get out to see RB doing his thang....and doing it VERY well.
Sorry there has been a change of plans. My wife has decided to retire from the Bristol school system, and there is an award dinner same night. She is being recognized for her service. I plan to try again in June. 'Will advise.
