No question about it. Enos looks like he has at least got the guy where he can progress through his reads when the field is cut in half and his passes look more accurate. He isn't going to freeze a safety in the middle of the field and hit a deep corner route but he's a shit ton better than what we have currently.

At least he can actually run and create on his own.

I just feel like against us, every DL is in effect Clemson's DL. Going to get after him quick and he's not a great quick decision passer.

Yeah, he can get away with being a below average passer playing on a team like Alabama. Would definitely be a problem here, but at least he can run.

Essentially true. But his legs buy time that we don’t have otherwise.

I think he’d be a huge get for us.

That said - from Hurts perspective, I can’t help but think UT makes no sense whatsoever and shouldn’t even be considered.

The threat of him running slows down a pass rush

Does Heavy understand the optics of promoting Friend and will he push Pruitt in a different direction?

Based off of history, Fulmer shouldn’t be helping on the search at all for OC.

One thing I'm not confident in is Fulmer's understanding of OC hires.

    Bring on Enos and Hurts.

Please stop. I get more mad at this bs you mention than anything else. Sab could call defenses to defend JG. Its misersble to watch and you can see it happening before the play begins.

    Entirely fair, IMO.

But even fully understanding the inherent risk of comparison....check out Chip Kelly’s rise, and you’ll see a lot of similarities.

Enos isn’t in my Top 5, even with Hurts.

He isn’t in my Top 15-20, without him.

Hurts would be named the starter before he stepped foot on campus.

And JG would transfer just as quickly.

    So, win-win.

We’d be 8-4 with Hurts at QB this season. Bare minimum.

Was Enos behind that Arkansas QB turning into an absolute monster out of nowhere? Tyler something?

Wonder how his passing ability compares with Dobbs? I'm just thinking about how Dobbs' mobility made our infallible 4 play offense dangerous.
