'15 FL LB Cecil Cherry

Aside from Bryant, J.Johnson had high praise from Butch prior to the season being the "alpha male" of the class. Maybe they're OK at MLB but really need one in this class.

 

He had the best HS film of any defensive signee from last year's class, in my opinion.

 

I figured. TOOS keeps saying he's out of shape. I know better than to believe anything from there.

 

McKenzie is this year's Vic Wharton from a recruiting other players standpoint. Hell, Vic should get some playing time as a reward for his recruiting efforts alone.

He decommitted from Michigan a lil while back and reopened his recruitment.....He OV'd UT after decommitting if I am not mistaken.

 

He's visiting for the Mizzou game this weekend

 

He did come in out of shape, but he's been here 4 months

 

He'll be fine once he gets an offseason of training. He came into camp with some bad weight

 

Which doesn't necessarily translate to conditioning.

Supposedly we are the leaders for another very highly rated inside linebacker, so might not really be that big of a deal.

 

I don't follow recruiting hardly at all. I definitely don't get wrapped up in it because most of the time projections are off and I barely keep up enough to stay in tune with the actual team on the field. I just thought it was interesting - I saw some people melting down over this one so thought he must have been a big deal.
