'15 TN DE Dylan Jackson (former UT commit 1/16/14)

Just decommitted.

 

According to VQ, TN was telling him he would be a DE, but early in conversations about OL had him spooked... Funny he does it same weekend Phillips has a great visit.

 

He does not want to play OL.

 

Long time coming.

Heard on the radio that Ole Miss called and said they'd only be interested if he'd consider playing offense. He was stand-up about it, and said no.

I think that he winds up at Tennessee. At some point, he'll realize that everyone is telling him the same thing, and he'll go where he most wants, and that will be Tennessee, IMO.

 

Think Lsu was telling him he'd play on D...but that may have changed

 

Chavis is his neighbor.

He's not from TN originally is my understanding.

 

He's not. Not much of a UT fan. He'd be an NFL OT but he really likes defense.

 

He's actually a very good DE. Great technique and leverage.

 

obligatory...did not want, too white, too slow, high maintenance, not vfl, doesn't have awesome avatar, probably going to be homesick, future bust, doesn't want it, too tall, too short...ad infinitum.

 

Maryville hasn't been too kind to Tennessee lately
