The other thread got me wondering. I said 2008, Montrell said 2006 and 2008. Here's a look: EJ Abrams-Ward 4* Dismissed/Marijuana Carson Anderson 2* played in a total of 10 games in his career. 0 Starts Preston Bailey 3* Left after Fulmer resigned Ben Bartholomew 3* Decent role player for us over the worst 4-5 years in recent memory. Willie Bohannon 3* Decent DE, played a lot of games. Started 5 times. Aaron Douglas 4* started as freshman on OL, transferred after Dooley, OD'ed after signing with Bama. Steven Fowlkes 3* never started, always back-up Montori Hughes 2* lazy player with a lot of potential. Dismissed from team a few years into school. Austin Johnson 3* Decent MLB for us. Started out as a FB and later switched to defense. Started a lot of games. Casey Kelly 3* never made it to Tennessee. Signed with Red Sox for baseball (I believe). Herman Lathers 3* Good LB. Injury prone career. Tauren Poole 3* started his JR and SR seasons. Decent RB, but not as good as we are used to at Tennessee. Stephaun Raines 2* Went to JUCO, played 10 games his SR season with only 10 tackles. Dallas Thomas 3* Best prospect out of the class. Played a lot of good football for us. Prentiss Waggner 3* started for 3 years for us. Marlon Walls 4* Career back-up player Rod Wilks 3* his internet lore didn't make up for his lack of success. Gerald Williams 4* Once he got on campus and learned the system he was a good player for us. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't know how you can find a worse class in recent memory than this one.
Johnson scored as an offensive and defensive player in his career, how many other guys have done that?
Nope , but on a side note , he caught the longest pass in school history. 90 yard TD against Georgia.
