2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine

Best sporting event in the world to me.

I hope Love gets it shoved in his earhole for leaving Watson off the team. I don't care why, Bubba's one of the best of the world. I don't even like Bubba.

 

I went to Medinah in 2012. The first two days were fun.

 

Sunday wasn't.

I was at the huge comeback at Brookline in 99. That was freaking insane.

 

Seems the Euros as a group have a much better mentality for match play than the Americans. A little bit of flair and emotion goes a long way in that format.

 

But they're losing that. They're now superstars too. The chip thing, which can be extraordinarily motivating, is fading or is gone altogether.

 

McIlroy might have the worst golf shoes imaginable. Probably tops Poulter.

 

Fowler and walker both playing poorly early. Very poorly.

 

Westwood just missed and early 2 footer. Ruh roh.

 

Kuchar and Johnson putting an ass whipping on Westwood and Pieters.

 

Reed and Spieth are pretty nasty as a pair. Took down Euro best team at foursomes pretty handily. Never felt in doubt.

 

4 point Friday morning is very nice.

 

How bout that. Mickelson Fowler was a fortunate win. The other guys mashed. ZJohnson and Walker brought it to the house on the back.

 

As well as Tiger Woods played in other tournaments (including the US Amateur which was match play), why did he fail so bad at the Ryder Cup? Just not a team player? Couldn't get along with everyone?

 

He just didn't seem to be as cerebral or gritty as the other guys.

 

Probably not enough of a gym rat

 

Gave it back. I'll take 5-3 after day 1, though 6-2 would have been sitting pretty.

 

Fowler has been atrocious and we took him over Bubba.

 

How did Love decide to keep playing Mickelson Fowler in foursomes? Looks stupid.

I get not liking Bubba personally, but he should be out there.
