Have we thought about the possibility that Gruden is the face of FFCA and wants butch to not be fired in the middle of the season? After all he does work with these coaches that have been fired to help them out, and that he has been fired himself. Just food for thought.
I have thought of that and now I think it's bs. Helping out Butch doesn't seem to be helping out his "new job".
Also if Guden is more concerned about Butch and FFCA than UT football, he might not be the coach we need.
IF true, he is concerned about doing it in a manner that he feels like he would like to be treated if it were him. No issue for me at all. Just wish I knew it that was actually the case or not.
Why would he like to see a coach dragged over the coals, stomped into the mud and ridiculed and embarrassed in public week after week. If Gruden is that sinister to watch Butch burn at the stake then he deserves a 100 million$ contract. I just don't see it happening and don't know why the AD hasn't acted yet.

You know, had we hired a Gruden or someone worth a crap, there's a very good chance he convinces some guys to return for their senior year. Tyler Bray, Cordarelle Patterson, and Justin Hunter behind that offensive line with a decent coach could have had one hell of a 2013.
My mistake, I was thinking of the Sunseri year pre butch. This program has been such a mess for so long the years just blend together.
