There's a lot of really talented football players in this upcoming class. Butch already has a commitment from Cade Mays, a 5 star OL and Alontae Taylor, a 4 star athlete. Peter Sirmon's son is a highly rated LB, but he's probably going to MSU to play for dad. Max Wray, a 4 star OT, is committed to UGA and has UGA ties. Butch, or whoever takes his job, can land a pretty damn good recruiting class without ever leaving the state in 2018. It's better than last year's, which many considered to be one of the best ever for the state. The point is, "recruiting is hard" is no longer an excuse for a coach here. Any fan starts saying that, tell them they're idiots.
Hopefully the two months from December to February will be enough for Gruden to land everyone. Ought to be ample.
Emerson wants to play for the in state school and Lawless should be a Vol. There's also a Top 100 Safety not far from your backyard. Only an incompetent coach (Butch) could screw this class up
