IDK how far off this is but Id be willing to bet that Butch's crew did little to no scouting of defenses from week to week.

 

Who needs to scout defenses when your system is infallible?

 

It didn't look like it

 

I know they really struggled adjusting to 50 defenses (3-4) from the even fronts that they were use to in the big east.

 

"Really struggled" is being kind.

 

In their defense, when you no more know what you’re looking at than how you need to attack it, scouting is overrated.
