They put together a few good series wins last year with not much to work with, hopefully we’ll get better
What's the outlook for this season?
I'm pretty optimistic. However:
But there is this:
5-0 start is pretty generous given the first few games were against App State and NKU. Currently up 8-0 on Indiana, by far the best team on the schedule so far. Indiana has been in the NCAAT something like 5 of the last 6 years, but have a new coach.
How in the world did they get a game in today
It's not been against the stiffest of competition, but giving up 4 runs through 7 games ain't too shabby.
I'm willing to count Indiana as a good team. This new coach may prove to be a bust, but they've been on a good run for about 10 years or so.
Pretty tough set of midweek games with Liberty and MTSU. It will be interesting to see how the Vols handle this fast start.
That was solid 7-1 victory. Liberty has already beaten South Carolina and a ranked Wake Forest squad. We couldn't afford to overlook them.
Nice win. UT was down 1-0 last I looked
Who's the next big test? Fresno?
I'd like to catch the SC series in Knoxville.
A team that can incorporate small ball this well can pull some wins out of their asses
I liked everything except the uniforms.
Appears we have some pitching amd defense. 6 shutouts in 9 games?
