I read where Nico is wearing a go pro on his helmet. Hopefully this helps keep him from staring down but also looking off and with progressions to make sure he’s seeing things like the rb wide open to his right. He has to improve on presnap reads and getting his eyes and head moving 123 not 1, 2, 3
Sanders was running 3rd team which seems to fly in the face of all the “reports” claiming he’s a slam dunk to start immediately.
Sounds like they plan on Satterfield at center with the 2 big guard transfers inside. They have played a lot of ball and should help at guard. Satterfield is bigger and more athletic than Mays but Mays knew how to play football. We will see on Satterfield.
Rarely do you see true freshmen early enrollees start with the ones early in spring because they need to watch and know what to do. I expect Sanders, barring injury, to start against Syracuse
Heard should be better if he can ever get healthy but he’s one of those knockkneed dudes who is gonna have issues. Like the big DT. I won’t find it hard to see Sanders better than what we had last year with Dayne Davis having to play because he was the better or only option at times when Campbell was bad. Overall we should be better across the front at 3 if not 4 of 5 positions. And Kinselman back with Ethan Davis on the field more. Matthews. Boo/staley. Brazell I like us ok at rb but hope this transfer shows something.
Not unless it’s auto 1st read quick throw. Our qbs and wrs do a lot of choice routes based on what they both see and it takes time and more time for confidence to let it go. Nico wasn’t ready to do all of that and that’s totally fine and jr year should be a machine. He won’t go pro after this year.
They have a go pro on Nico so the coaches can see how he is going through his progressions. That way they can see if he is actually going through them all and making the best decision. They did the same with Hooker in year 2. I believe it's so they can tell for certain he is ready to go as fast as they want.
