Read an article that discussed the 18-0 run vs Creighton in the 2nd half. I recall them calling 2 timeouts. One of the most impressive 5 minutes I’ve seen on a court on both ends.

 

DK on ESPN Summer League right now. Starting alongside Bronny.

Kinda rough first half. Shooting off, but some good passes. 4 points, 4 assists. He just needs to find his rhythm and range.

 

Towards the end here, you can see DK gaining confidence.

 

DK missing his usual extra 2-3 free throws, for some reason. Always perplexed me with his outside stroke.

 

Why not us

 

Shouldn't read too much into summer league, but not great starts for DK or Bronny. But, again, it means almost nothing. DK is playing again tonight, I believe.

 

DK's teammates do not know passing. They are in complete audition mode.

Aidoo probably has a bigger offensive tool bag than Okpara does, but dunking isn’t really in it.

 

he had some rolls but I like this guy attacking the rim. Aidoo just too soft at times and would go up with one hand an show the ball. This guy will crank it at the rim. He’s going to be very active on both ends

 

I feel like we have plenty of scoring options. A tough, physical, rim protecting center will be a better fit with this group. That kind of game travels better. Aidoo is a high variance player, when he's on he's great, when off, he'd dissappear on both ends.
