Would only support something like this if there was an iron clad agreement that it wouldn't expand beyond four. And yeah, no reason the SEC should have a problem with the way things are now. Our conference champ is pretty much a lock for the title game.
i don't get giving home field avantage based on BCS rankings. why not just merge it with the existing bcs bowl game and then two weeks later have the title game? I don't buy this theory that the fans wont travel to both.
I dont either. If people will haul their asses out to the freaking Outback bowl, they'll find a way to get to two games for an NC run. And honestly, how ridiculous would it be to have a one loss (to a top 5 team) SEC team have to travel to Boise because the Broncos went undefeated in whatever the hell conference they are in now.?
yup. it would certainly make it stupid for any highly ranked team to play a decent non conference schedule.
