A rumor too rich ($100M) for a sub-forum; Saban to Texas

Discussion in 'VOLuminous' started by SavageOrangeJug, Nov 22, 2011.

  1. I have been seeing this all over the web. Numerous sites have threads about the RUMOR. I think it is BS, but would love it if it were true, ust to hear the Bammers moan and cry.

    Google keywords: Saban to Texas

What is it, a 20 year deal?

Why would any school sink that kind of money into a contract in the day and age of Sweatervests cheating and Joepas ignoring molestation?

  4. Nope! $10 million a year. Remember though...RUMOR

    It does sound somewhat... silly.

Probably too good to be true. Even SOJ and I could clink glasses to this. Possibly with Saban.

We should just ask Saban. He's a trustworthy feller.

If true, I bet Fulmer goes to Bammerville

  9. Yes, we could.

While watching Bammer hurl themselves off tall buildings if he did leave.

Can you imagine the reaction down in Inbredville?

Can't buy this one. Even for Texas, I think that figure is over the top. It would be interesting to see him make that move and watch the fall out though. Odds are about the same as Dooley taking the UGA job when Richt steps down at the end of this season.

Our own Savage Orange Jug, who shared the rumor with us.

Yes, I agree. I also think we should make a serious effort to turn into a premiere basketball site over the next few weeks.
